At the beginning of January 2021, Hedin Mobility Group acquired Ford Motor Company AB from Ford of Europe. The new company, Hedin Motor Company AB, thus became a private importer of Ford in Sweden with responsibility for the import and distribution of passenger cars and light trucks as well as the distribution of spare parts and accessories.

It has now been two years since the takeover, and the journey has progressed very strongly. Looking at pure increases in volume in 2022 compared to 2020 when it was owned by Ford of Europe, the increase for passenger cars and vans combined is 53.2 percent. The total market share for 2022 landed at 5.31 percent.
