During Paris Fashion Week, Lacoste debuted their spring-summer 2022 collection. Louise Trotter, creative director of Lacoste, has had her fill with the brand's history — the past has been plundered for collaborations and shoes in recent months — but she has her sights set on the future. The French heritage brand is bringing its characteristic sportswear into a techy, space-age future.

It's a mash-up of diverse athleisure elements drawn from all ages of Lacoste, yet propelled into the next generation by practical materials utilized for unexpected patternmaking. Knits and shirts are divided into sections by unexpected bifurcation; rugby sweaters are extended, broadened, and made adjustable; and lightweight coats have the form of neoprene but the breathability of techwear.
